iDK but ;;;;; sOMETIMES I M REAL SAD ABT THE EMPIRE like i lov the era but imo the consulate > the empire. its just that the empire has this cold grandeur and ??? the consulate felt so warm - so natural to me. like under the empire everything was stifled bc of protocol and ugh it makes me sad bc like during the evenings of the consulate you had everyone chatting and joking & naps being a meme ALSO BEFORE THE LEGION OF HONOR there were sabres of honor and then you - whether you were a lowly soldier or an officer, you could dine with the consul and his wife !! and under the empire someone else took you out for dinner and idk but id rather eat w naps even if he’d sit at table for like five minutes than w some officer
